About IDEN

What is IDEN?

IDEN is a proposal tool for consultants who sell AI work, and a free workspace for the businesses they serve. Consultants build a proposal from their own services and terms, back it with a GAR on the client’s AI tool, and deliver it as one page.

Who is IDEN for?

Consultants, agencies and firms who help companies use AI well: AI strategists, policy and risk advisors, trainers, and GRC firms adding an AI practice. Businesses can also set up a free workspace on their own.

Why “confidence”?

Most of the AI conversation runs on fear: fines, falling behind, the unknown. IDEN runs on confidence, and confidence comes from three things:

  • Clarity about which tools you use and who owns them.
  • Consistency in how your people use them every day.
  • Trust in a record anyone can check.

Does IDEN use AI?

Only where you ask it to. Everything in IDEN runs on clear, fixed rules: proposals, workspaces, SOPs, remediation plans and the record. The same input always gives the same result, and nothing is guessed. The one place AI is used is the GAR, where a model reads the vendor’s public terms and privacy documents, and only when you choose to run one. Every finding still quotes the vendor’s own words, so you can check it yourself. No AI makes decisions in IDEN; people do.

Who makes IDEN?

IDEN is built by Trocola Inc, founded by Christopher Trocola, creator of the CT Framework.

AI governance and compliance

Is IDEN an AI governance tool?

No. IDEN is a proposal tool for the consultants and GRC firms who do AI governance work. Governance is a byproduct of a company’s communication: who owns each tool, what each team does with it, and what happens when something changes. That lives in the SOPs and the remediation plans, and every IDEN workspace is where a business builds and keeps them.

Does IDEN help with AI compliance?

Yes, as a result rather than a promise. Compliance is a byproduct of how well a company communicates: when people know which tools are approved, what data they can use, and who to ask, the company can show its work to any auditor or regulator. IDEN gives consultants and their clients the structure to build that, and compliance follows.

What is AI governance?

AI governance is how a company decides which AI tools it uses, who owns them, how people use them, and how it proves all of that later. It works best when it’s built from inside the company’s own structure, through its departments and SOPs, not bolted on from outside.

Why do companies struggle with AI compliance?

Most start with a policy and stop there. A policy says what should happen. An SOP says who does what, every day, with which tool. Without SOPs, training records and a clear owner for each tool, there is nothing to show when someone asks.

How do consultants sell AI governance work?

With proof, not promises. An IDEN proposal shows the client what their AI tool’s own terms actually say, quoted and sourced, through a GAR. The client sees the gaps before they sign, and the path to close them.

What is shadow AI?

Shadow AI is any AI tool people use at work without the company knowing or approving it. A clear list of approved tools, with a simple way to ask for new ones, is how a company brings it into the light.

Proposals

What goes in a proposal?

Your story (the problem, the solution, the client’s own words), your services and prices, your terms, and, if you choose, a GAR on the AI tool the engagement is about.

Can I use my own services, prices and terms?

Yes. They come from your own profile and stay yours.

Who sees my proposals?

You and the client you send it to. No other consultant ever sees your proposals, and your client never sees anyone else’s.

What happens after my client accepts?

The proposal is locked as delivered, and your client’s workspace is ready for the work. Changes after delivery mean a new proposal, so both sides always know exactly what was agreed.

What does my client get?

The proposal on one clear page, and a free workspace of their own.

The GAR

What is a GAR?

A Gap Analysis Report. It reads one AI tool, for one company, against the 21 controls of the CT Framework, using the vendor’s own current terms and privacy documents.

Who can run a GAR?

Consultants, to back a proposal, and businesses, on any AI tool in their own workspace.

What is the CT Framework?

The CT Framework is Christopher Trocola’s method for running AI the way a company runs the rest of its business: through its own people, owners and SOPs, not a binder on a shelf. It has 21 controls in four pillars:

  • Know Your Stack: what AI is in use, who owns each tool, and what it touches.
  • Legal & Regulatory: acceptable use, data terms, the laws that apply, vendor review, contracts and records.
  • Operational: access, human review at the decisions that matter, incident response, change control and monitoring.
  • Continuous Oversight: training, signed attestations, audits, watching for new regulation, and keeping the score current.

A GAR reads an AI tool against those 21 controls.

How is a GAR different from an AI risk score?

Every finding in a GAR quotes the vendor’s own words, with the source page and the date it was read. You can check every line yourself.

Does a GAR approve or ban a tool?

No. A GAR shows what is in place and what is not, and lays out the path to close any gaps. The company makes its own decision.

What happens if a tool falls short?

The GAR becomes a checklist: policy changes, safeguards, and terms to raise with the vendor. The tool is looked at again once those changes are verified.

Can a GAR be run again?

No. Every GAR is its own permanent record. If a reading can’t be completed, a new run replaces it, and nothing is spent.

How long does a GAR take?

Usually 7 to 11 minutes. You can close the page; it shows when it’s ready.

Pricing

What does IDEN cost?

Proposals are free, and your first GAR is on us. Plans are for GARs:

  • No plan: $49 a GAR.
  • Individual: $99 a month, with 5 GARs each month. Extra GARs are $25 each.
  • Team: $399 a month, with 25 GARs each month. Extra GARs are $15 each.

Do unused GARs roll over?

A plan’s monthly GARs refresh each month and don’t roll over. GARs you buy separately never expire. Bought GARs are non-refundable.

Is the workspace really free?

Yes. A business can set up its workspace at no cost, and every proposal includes one for the client. A consultant’s fee for their services is between them and their client.

Privacy and data

Is my information shared with anyone?

Each company’s workspace is walled off from every other. People reach it only with access the company grants, and the company can see and revoke that access at any time.

Does IDEN train AI on my data?

No. Your content is never used to train AI models unless your organization joins our opt-in data program under a separate agreement.

Where can I read the full terms?

Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
